Madagascar is a home of a huge variety of wildlife and landscapes. As island, it offers a multitude of landscapes from hilly forested central highland to sandy coastline with either littoral forest or baobabs. This tour takes you to journey from the territory of the largest lemur called indri-Indri, the rainforest with its rich vibrant tropical species then you will pass by the world famous baobab avenue, a gangway of stunning endemic trees to the Tsingy of Bemaraha, a limestone massif and a real wonder for geology. Aside from exploring Madagascar wildlife, you will be also treated to a relax day on beach in Morondava. Throughout this trip you will be welcomed by friendly smile of Malagasy people and you will come across tasty local dishes.

Detailed program
Day 01: WELCOME TO ANTANANARIVO CAPITAL OF MADAGASCAR
After arriving in Antananarivo (or Tana, as it is known by the locals), you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel.

Day 02: Antananarivo - Andasibe
You will be picked up from your hotel and head for the rainforest of Andasibe. Along the way, you will drive through the central highland, a hilly region with redland villages and patchwork of rice fields. Then you will stop at Madagascar Exotic Park to get a glimpse of Madagascar unique wildlife. As you penetrate into a lush and luxuriant eastern forest, you will reach Andasibe National Park, the nearest park to the capital city. After getting settled in to your hotel, you will get acquainted with the sights, smells and sounds of the rainforest. In the evening you will have a night walk where you may meet the smallest lemur and other nocturnal species like Avahy, another nocturnal lemur, bird, and chameleon.

Day 03: Andasibe National Park
The wailing sound of the biggest lemur called Indri-Indri echoed throughout the forest and its vicinity will wake you up early morning. Lemur is one of the highlights of Madagascar in the world and Indri-Indri is the highlight of this park. After breakfast, you set out for a full day of adventure in the rainforest. To start you will have a hike to learn about the plants, animals and people of Bezanozano, one ethnic group who lives in this rainforest. You will discover medicinal uses for the rainforest’s many plant species seek out small species of frog and keep your eyes open for primates high in the forest canopy. This park spreads over..... And homes a rich and vibrant wildlife unique in the world. Later on you will visit Vakona reserve with the Lemurs Island and Crocodile Park

Day 04: Andasibe - Antsirabe
After breakfast drive to Antsirabe. You will snake through the hilly central highland, passing by terraced rice fields dotted with brick`s kiln and local handcrafts on the roadsides. Along your way, you will cross and recross the railway running parallel to your road till Antsirabe. This railway is rarely used, only for cargo. Antsirabe is famous for its hot spring water as well as for being a summer city for Europeans in the XIX and XX centuries with the hotel des thermes, a city architectural heritage. Nowadays it`s a crossroad between the Southern and Western parts of Madagascar. After a city tour, you will visit handicrafts workplaces where zebu horn, tin are recycled into decoration items and traditional paper mill where anteimoro paper is made from bark of native tree from the eastern coast of Madagascar. This unique kind of paper is a vestige of the Arabian civilisation in the island.

Day 05 : Antsirabe - Morondava
After breakfast, enjoy the overland journey to Morondava. On the way you pass by undulating country side before reaching Miandrivazo, a gateway the western region of Madagascar as well as a starting point for rivertrip on the Tsiribihina River. As you get close to Morondava, baobab trees appear among the rice fields.

Day 06: Morondava - Bekopaka
You will leave Morondava and head for Bekopaka village. You will drive on a dusty road through spiny bushes, baobab forest and savannah. As you pass by thatched and adobe villages you may see herd of zebu, traffic is limited to zebu car here as zebu is the main sign of wealth in this region. This overland journey offers an opportunity to enjoy for birdwatchers as this road drive through bushes where native birds live. On the way you will cross two rivers Tsiribihina and Manambolo on ferries before reaching Bekopaka village the gateway to Tsingy national park a UNESCO world heritage.

Day 07: Visit of Tsingy Bemaraha National Park
Today is a day to explore the small Tsingy of Bemaraha. Embark on dugout traditional pirogue along the Manambolo River to visit the caves and the stalactites and stalagmites formation. The gorge of the river is shadowed by towering cliffs and offers an interesting range of colour with sunrays on it. The cliffs are also home to various heron. After punting on Manambolo River, you will keep going with the small Tsingy, one part of the Tsingy of Bemaraha. This area will give an idea of how wonderful and vast is this limestone formation. You will hike through the mazes with the care of private guide and cross a view point to get a panoramic view over the pinnacles, the surrounding of Bekopaka village and the Manambolo River.

Day 08: Visit of the famous Tsingy de Bamaraha National Park
This whole day is dedicated to visit the Big Tsingy of Bemaraha, more impressive than yesterday`s visit. You will have a hike in this cathedral of limestones to learn about the plants, animals and its geological formation. This limestone formation dated from 200million years ago from former coral reefs and shells uplifted after the sea withdrew. Its current form is the result from ongoing erosion of wind, rain and sun. It`s a an extensive network of deep caves, cracks and sunken forest topped with razor-sharp pinnacles. You should keep your eyes open for lemurs wandering among this marvelous limestone labyrinth and learn about Sakalava tribes. The tropical deciduous forest within the big Tsingy shelters large populations of rare wildlife like dancing Sifaka, endemic birds; blue and crested couas and same reptiles.

Day 09: Bekopaka - Morondava
Back to Morondava pass through the savannah with adobe villages. Crossing again the two rivers: by the ferries. On the way you will have several stops at the sacred Baobab then to the baobab in love. Before end the day, enjoy sundowners at the world famous baobab avenue while shooting the breathtaking sunset. Throughout the world there is eight species of baobab and Madagascar homes six of them including the Adansonia Grandidieri along this baobab avenue. It can reach 800 years old with height of 98 feet.

Day 10: Morondava
Morondava is a quiet, easy going beach fronted town. Relax or active stay. No set program. However many optional activities are available fisherman village excursion, city tour to look the local life of the region.
